Well life's been pretty boring these days....done with college..missing friends...its all been like a calm after the storm...
The only saving grace has been the IPL 2 @ South Africa...
To be really honest, this IPL was not expected to generate as much enthu as the previous one for the very fact that it was being held outside India and other smaller reasons like the elections going on for a month ( nt really a small reason uh)...
But then with nothing else to do..the IPL seemed a very viable option to kill time...
(seems like i am writing this because i have to write something in my blog..nevertheless)
And the IPL has been real entertaining over the past week. Now with the business end of the IPL its all serious entertainment..The first of the semifinal was played today and it was a real treat to cricket lovers all across the world.
The Deccan Chargers v/s Delhi Daredevils...
Everybody was backing the Delhi team to pull it of as they were the most consistent team throughout the tournament..
The Deccan Chargers were the underdogs and everybody were surprised that they made it so far..
But one man changed everything..
Adam Gilchrist..His name has been synonymous with destruction in world cricketand that was what he exactly did today. An innings of the highest qualiy which just left everybody stunned and silenced...

There are instances in sports when individual brilliance dominates everything else and one such instance was at display at the Centurion today....Here is a man who has demolished the opposition adn won the match singlehandedly for his team and..he comes out for the post match presentation and says "it was a team effort, everybody played their part and we won " .... Now that is what seperates the ordinary from the extraordinary..
